Hello! Cezch Republic

Lennon Wall in Prague
I've seen some video about the reasons the travelers love Taiwan. One of the reasons is people in Taiwan. These travelers meet a lot of people help them. As for me, Taiwanese, sometimes, I feel that Taiwanese asks too much my private life. I really don't like people judging my private life. I never chat others' people private life actively. I' m not a gossip girl. Maybe I' m too common people to be a gossip girl. Hope to be rich like Blair or Serena one day  ... lol
Anyway, I also get many helps when traveling in Taiwan. Sometime I don't even ask people for help and people helps me actively. That's one reason I love Taiwan so much!   Cezch Republic lets me feel this kindness again. I get a lot help here. A girl guides me to my hostel. I catch cold and I'm in my period. My look isn't good at all. And I meet a girl asking me, " Are you ok?" It's so nice! The atmosphere here is relaxing and people always smiles! I love their smiles!

Lipno
Lipno is the county I stay for learning snowboard. The environment is pretty good! The expense is good, too. It's a pity that I'm too sick  to grab every second playing snowboard there.  The salesman in the pharmacy is really helpful. We find the medicine suiting my needs. But the explanation on the medicine  isn't written in English. Therefore, remember to ask when to take it etc. The scenery in Lipno is beautiful, too.  Walking on the lake and seeing cute kids playing ice skating. It's wonderful!

in Prague
I see him in front of my hostel. He is body-challenged but he pays much attention on doing cross-stitch. I really want to have his work. But I never see him again. My first time wants to chat with someone so eagerly even though I'm so sick.
The first stair of my hostel is a shop. When I go up stair to my hostel, I hear that the boss tells the asian clients, " you're Chinese. you're rich. you should buy more t-shirt." I can tell the unhappiness from the clients' faces.  I'm glad that I'm just sinophone, chinese-speaker. Or I would be unhappy about the boss' rudeness.
At 12 pm, I leave my room to buy some mineral water from the reception.  A boy sees me and he keeps saying, " my goodness. my goodness." I don't feel scared. I only feel that he is annoying. Why men do this kind of behavior? Just for letting others feel annoyed, or they only think about what they feel? The man in the reception is really nice. He smiles warmly. And the price for the water is affordable! The only disadvantage here is that the weather is too dry and too cold. My nose becomes a bloody fountain... I travel and sleep with hostel's toilet paper...My tissue ran out in my second day here...
old town plaza
I see some decoration of chinese new year. To be honest, I feel it's weird. Western scenery with chinese style decoration... I keep thinking when 2 different culture meet, what we should do for respecting each other.  There is English explanation below the decoration. And I see foreigners' face in the traditional chinese performance. Maybe it's not so weird to see these in Europe.

I like Lennon wall in Prague. When I arrive there, I hear some music and see many people taking pictures there. The graffiti on the wall is  colorful.
I also go to Franz Kafka Museum. I've read The Metamorphosis. The older I'm, the creepier I feel about this book.  Human is selfish even toward family. I like this museum! There is Mocha Museum. I love Mocha. I went to his exhibition in Taiwan before. I don't go to Mocha Museum. Hope that I can travel in Prague again.

Something to be noticed in Czech Republic:
1. They don't use euro. There are many change station in Prague. The exchange rate varies from different change station, Remember to ask before changing. ATM is easy to find.
2. The dish is saltier than in France, in Taiwan and in Italy except the steak and wrap in MacDonald.
3. The weather is drier and colder in winter than middle France and Taiwan.
4. The train ticket doesn't change with time. But remember where to transfer because, on the train ticket, there is only departure place and destination.
5. Remember to prepare enough money in Lipno train station. They don't accept euros.

Have good days in Cezch Republic! :)

Snowboarding, trekking in Chamonix!

First day in Chamonix
The weather is really good! It doesn’t rain. It’s about 4 degrees. Compared to Taiwan, it’s really cold. But I don’t feel cold. Maybe it’s because the weather here is dryer. From Clermont-FD to Chamonix, it takes looooong time. Before I come here, I’ve decided to learn skiing here. However, my knee hurts. It never happens before. It’s so weird. I even tried to find a doctor for this. Well… there was no doctor available on Friday… Therefore, I only did some google search for this and learn how to stretch myself out. It works! It doesn’t hurt that much. Thanks for the one inventing Internet!

I meet 3 wonderful girls from New Zeeland! I regret that I don’t squeeze some time to visit New Zeeland when visiting Australia. Anyway, I will be there one day. It’s nice to meet them. I see an independent girl whose waist injuries but she still deals with everything on her own. I don’t see any pain appearing on her face. What a wonderful girl! If I were her, I would sleep as much as I can until I can see the doctor! Umm…I’m not wonderful…I see 2 cool, vigorous skiers. Before next vacation, I will do too much exercise or my knee tragedy may happen again…

Second day in Chamonix
I do some trekking. I always do trekking with family. This time, I do it alone. I never enjoy the view because I always talk before…lol This time, I take photos, see the beautiful view and stepping on the ice. There is only some snow on the mountains and few snow on the ground. It’s still early. But I’m satisfied. It’s not easy to see snow in Taiwan at all. Taiwan is a tropical island… Here, I can feel stepping on some snow, see the snow view and, the most important part, it’s not cold! To be honest, it’s perfect for me!

When I do trekking, I see many local people doing trekking with dogs. France is really animal-friendly. I never see mad animal and people who hate animal. When dogs stay on the train, rare dogs wear equipment to prevent them from biting people or stay in the cage. The dogs always stay beside its owner patiently.

The only shortcoming here is that the wifi in hostel and Macdonald never work…I don’t book train tickets for Italy yet…

The other backpackers call New Zeeland girls Kiwi. Umm… am I beef noodles or other specialty? Do they know bubble tea from Taiwan? Anyway, just don’t call me sushi. I can’t speak any Japanese…

Third day in Chamonix- learned snowboarding, next parachute?
Snowboard day! Even though I’ve decided not to do any snow sport, I still go to the ski school and ask some information. And I ahead to the trekking place. I don’t want to do trekking anymore! I start to find shop to rent the equipment. The snowboard is rare than ski board… I go to 3 shop and find the most suitable one, not expensive, not too far from ski school etc.

It is private lesson. The group lesson isn’t available this afternoon. Umm…I can learn it faster in private lesson, right? It’s interesting lesson! I learn to do some cross and turn. It’s not difficult but need more practice. If you play skateboard, it would be easier. After this class, I want to play skateboard! Last time I played skateboard is my first time to play skateboard. Haha… Skateboarding is totally different from inline skating… I learn inline skating by myself. But I can’t learn skateboarding on my own… it’s weird or normal? This time, with a coach, the situation is better! I should stay here for whole vacation!! Maybe I should study here!

I send postcards to family and friends, too. This reminds me that I forget to contact friends in Rome!! There is always friends in hostel, right? T.T

3 days in Chamonix, I speak 3-day English.

*total cost for learning snowboarding: about 200 euros (include the snowboard, jacket, pants etc.)
*the beer of Chamonix: Chamonix de blond (if I don't remember it incorrectly)
