Hello! Wonderful Austria!

bridge in Salzburg
My first city in Austria is Salzburg, the Mozart's hometown.
When I walked out of the train station, I saw the train officer giving red envelope. At that time I went to Austria is lunar new year. In Taiwan, we celebrate lunar new year. Lunar new year is our Christmas. It's a holiday for family. In lunar new year, the adults give red envelope to kids and the elders with their bless. So, when seeing the officers giving the red envelope, I took one as my first bless this year. In the red envelope, there were seeds! I love this idea!

From my hotel to city center, I passed a bridge. On the bridge, there were locks. I saw a lock for motorcycle.  It shocked me. And I believed this couple would be together forever. When the sun shined on the bridge, locks shined too. It was so beautiful! It was a pity that I missed the time when bell rang the Mozart's pieces.

When I left Salzburg, I met the cars from the wedding. It's noisy. But I still watched them passing and gave them my bless from heart.

exchange books station
We stayed in Bad Goisern for going to Hallstat. I didn't see many tourists even the residents. Here, I saw stars starring at night, music band who wears the costumes of crocodile and cute but a little aggressive ducks. I also saw a little place to put the books in and people can exchange books. I met that an old man put his books there and he also rearranged piles of books. I love this idea. I've seen similar idea in Taiwan. But it's providing free books to read in public, after reading, you need to put books back. It's more like smaller library. I hope this idea can show in Taiwan one day. Recently, I see  an idea, bringing a book from east-south Asia when traveling. In Taiwan, there is a lot of labor from east-south Asia.  Taiwanese travels a lot in east-south Asia. The value for this idea is to let these labors can enjoy reading, too. I hope, one day, these amazing ideas can show in whole Taiwan.

Ahead Hallstat. Hallstat is really famous in foreigners. I saw many tourists there. It's beautiful but too many tourists.
Hunderwasser House

amusement park
In Wien, I went to Hunderwasser House. I love its appearance! It's gorgeous and unique! I hope my house can be like this, beautiful, unique and art in life. I walked around in this city, went into a park and saw an equipment. At first, I saw it an  amusement facility, scarring type. But I found out that it was not scarring one. It was for seeing the city view. It's interesting for me. I never see this kind facility show in the park in Taiwan only near department stores, farris wheel or in amusement park. I only saw people playing ice skating.

Austria, a country I love. It's so comfortable.

beautiful flowers, beautiful eyes, nice pics

Recently, some old ladies sell flowers on the streets. They aren't like people who sells roses on the streets. They always stand on the streets, wait for you to talk to them actively. 2 euros for a bunch of flowers. Those flowers can rest for 2 days.  The flowers are beautiful. I like yellow flowers. These flowers lets me feel warm weather coming. I bought one. The lady told me warmly that I should put these flowers in the vase with water etc. When she was saying these, her eyes changed. I can feel her happiness in her eyes and she also like these flowers. When I came home, these flowers reminded me that we bought flowers to put in our house in Taiwan. Sometimes ,it was lily. Sometimes, it was ginger lily. I love the smelling.  Finally, I used the flowers as props when taking photos. Got some nice pics! When I go back to Taiwan, maybe I can use these pics to find some good models and keep taking good photos.

After 2 days, I met that lady again on the street. She was with grand-daughter ahead to the park. We smiled at each other. Another different type of friendship?

Hello! Cezch Republic

Lennon Wall in Prague
I've seen some video about the reasons the travelers love Taiwan. One of the reasons is people in Taiwan. These travelers meet a lot of people help them. As for me, Taiwanese, sometimes, I feel that Taiwanese asks too much my private life. I really don't like people judging my private life. I never chat others' people private life actively. I' m not a gossip girl. Maybe I' m too common people to be a gossip girl. Hope to be rich like Blair or Serena one day  ... lol
Anyway, I also get many helps when traveling in Taiwan. Sometime I don't even ask people for help and people helps me actively. That's one reason I love Taiwan so much!   Cezch Republic lets me feel this kindness again. I get a lot help here. A girl guides me to my hostel. I catch cold and I'm in my period. My look isn't good at all. And I meet a girl asking me, " Are you ok?" It's so nice! The atmosphere here is relaxing and people always smiles! I love their smiles!

Lipno
Lipno is the county I stay for learning snowboard. The environment is pretty good! The expense is good, too. It's a pity that I'm too sick  to grab every second playing snowboard there.  The salesman in the pharmacy is really helpful. We find the medicine suiting my needs. But the explanation on the medicine  isn't written in English. Therefore, remember to ask when to take it etc. The scenery in Lipno is beautiful, too.  Walking on the lake and seeing cute kids playing ice skating. It's wonderful!
the website for ski in Lipno: http://lipno.skischoolshop.com/en/

in Prague
I see him in front of my hostel. He is body-challenged but he pays much attention on doing cross-stitch. I really want to have his work. But I never see him again. My first time wants to chat with someone so eagerly even though I'm so sick.
The first stair of my hostel is a shop. When I go up stair to my hostel, I hear that the boss tells the asian clients, " you're Chinese. you're rich. you should buy more t-shirt." I can tell the unhappiness from the clients' faces.  I'm glad that I'm just sinophone, chinese-speaker. Or I would be unhappy about the boss' rudeness.
At 12 pm, I leave my room to buy some mineral water from the reception.  A boy sees me and he keeps saying, " my goodness. my goodness." I don't feel scared. I only feel that he is annoying. Why men do this kind of behavior? Just for letting others feel annoyed, or they only think about what they feel? The man in the reception is really nice. He smiles warmly. And the price for the water is affordable! The only disadvantage here is that the weather is too dry and too cold. My nose becomes a bloody fountain... I travel and sleep with hostel's toilet paper...My tissue ran out in my second day here...
old town plaza
I see some decoration of chinese new year. To be honest, I feel it's weird. Western scenery with chinese style decoration... I keep thinking when 2 different culture meet, what we should do for respecting each other.  There is English explanation below the decoration. And I see foreigners' face in the traditional chinese performance. Maybe it's not so weird to see these in Europe.

I like Lennon wall in Prague. When I arrive there, I hear some music and see many people taking pictures there. The graffiti on the wall is  colorful.
I also go to Franz Kafka Museum. I've read The Metamorphosis. The older I'm, the creepier I feel about this book.  Human is selfish even toward family. I like this museum! There is Mocha Museum. I love Mocha. I went to his exhibition in Taiwan before. I don't go to Mocha Museum. Hope that I can travel in Prague again.

Something to be noticed in Czech Republic:
1. They don't use euro. There are many change station in Prague. The exchange rate varies from different change station, Remember to ask before changing. ATM is easy to find.
2. The dish is saltier than in France, in Taiwan and in Italy except the steak and wrap in MacDonald.
3. The weather is drier and colder in winter than middle France and Taiwan.
4. The train ticket doesn't change with time. But remember where to transfer because, on the train ticket, there is only departure place and destination.
5. Remember to prepare enough money in Lipno train station. They don't accept euros.

Have good days in Cezch Republic! :)

make sure I'm not a romantic person in Venice and Bologna...

Venice
中文版網誌: 歐啦啦日誌
Blog en Français: Coucou Je suis ici

When going to Venice from Florence, Florence starts to snow slightly. The snow reminds me that the ancient  people describes snowing is like cotton flying with wind. This is my first time for understanding the reasons of this description. This is also my first time to see the snow. Taiwan is a tropical country. There is only snow in high mountains in wet winter.

Qijin, Kaohsiung
http://khh.travel/en/default1.asp
When we think Venice, the first adjective coming up our mind would be ' romantic'.  When I arrive this city, the first adjective coming up my mind is ' cool' . Because the main transportation is boat ! No matter it's bus, taxi or garbage car etc. When I'm taking the boat bus, I figure out that I had experience of taking a boat bus in Qijin, Kaohsiung. But the 2 cities are completely different. Kaohsiung is in south Taiwan which means it's really really warm! It's a good city for cycling, eating seafood, shaved ice etc.
Venice

Venice is a wonderful place to observe the building, street view etc.  The scenery is beautiful. When you walk in the city, you would feel like walking in the 16th century. umm... ... I don't image myself as a ...... maybe loyal walking in Venice... ... I think the food, the cycling in Kaohsiung... ... As my friends always say, I don't have any romantic cells in my brain. Though I study in a romantic department. lol Anyway, I enjoy taking Venice's photo, seeing the passengers on the streets, taking a look for accessory in Venice. When it come to the night, the sky with this city is really gorgeous!

Fireworks in Venice

I also spend my first day here in 2015. The fireworks is good. But my first day comes without counting down. This makes me and my friends feel wired. I'm happy to be accompanied with friends like them.  They are vigorous and caring. When we buy lunch, Au see the Taipei 101 firework showing on TV and tell me. :)  He knows Taipei 101 because it was the highest building in the world. After seeing the firework, I find the clip of Taipei 101 fireworks to show him because we talk about Taipei 101 while waiting for the firework.

I start this year without awareness but with happiness. Can everyday in 2015 be happy days without awareness, too?

*The expense in Venice is higher than other cities in Italy. The food price is different for taking out or eating inside the store.

After Venice, I ahead to Bologna. Here, I know An. We look Bologna , talk in French even though our French is not perfect, go to bar, I  learn a nice game from him. I also try the tortelli and fall in love with this! At first, I try this because I never see food like this. I even don't know what it is. I send the tortelli photo to Al, an italian friend. And she tells me what it is and she also love it! She says it's a specialty of Bologna. I'm so lucky! I also send the photo to Au, He knows how to make it! What a popular food!

At the end, I want to give my bless to my family, my friends, future friends, the most important ' YOU' with the Taipei 101 fireworks.

Days in Florence, see the church and the view.

See Florence from the hill
I've seen many beautiful churches in Europe. And it seems that visiting churches becomes a habit during my travel. In Florence, I see my favorite 2 churches. One is Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, the  most famous one in Florence. The other is Basilica Di San Miniato a Monte.

Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore is in the center of Florence. You can just follow the crowd and arrive in front of the church. lol Near the church, there is a tower. The ticket cost about 10 euros. Because I love this style of church. I still climb up the tower, see the view and decide my next direction. Inside the church, I doesn't see many golden decorations like the ones I see in France. But this doesn't mean that it's nothing to see. Instead, it's simple but elegant. For the churches in France, we can find something interesting in windows. Here, you can find something meaningful on walls.  :)

Fake David in the parking lot, on the hill

Basilica Di San Miniato a Monte is on the hill. The view from the hill is gorgeous! There is a fake David statue in the parking lot. Frankly, it's funny. Behind and around the the Basilica,  it's churchyard. The graveyard in Europe is totally different from the ones in Taiwan. Here, you can feel the love toward the tomb's owner, you can guess what the most important things are in their life. In Taiwan, what the tomb looks like is more related to the religion. Everything in the tomb has its own reason. My dad once told me some when I was little. I didn't keep it in mind. I should keep it in mind! Or I can tell you now.

Taichung Park
origin:http://taiwan.net.tw
I also go to the Medici Palace, the museum which has a David in front of but no real David inside. It's a beautiful museum. You can feel the Medici family' s influence toward this city and also  see the fine drawings on the wall. Why people at that time always draw with the similar themes like seasons? Because of this museum, I know the Florence's symbol,  lion. Why the city in Europe always has its own symbol? The symbol seems to has kind of importance. Taichung is the city I am from in Taiwan. It has the symbol, too. But the importance is not like Florence's. Taichung's symbol is an architecture in Taichung park. Taichung park is the oldest park in Taiwan.

During my stay in Florence, I meet a chinese girl. There is '' two China concept" between our chat. We think Taiwan is our own country, They always think Taiwan is just their small city. Well... it's really weird. I never know China, PRC govern Taiwan, as a Taiwanese living in Taiwan over 20 years. A city can has its own independent military, justice system etc? Come on! Don't joke. Taiwan is a real country. If you don't believe it, just go there and you will see. If you meet a Taiwanese, please don't call us Chinese. It's offensive! If you are German, I keep saying you're French. How would you feel? And don't tell us the reason, you look alike. Well... This kind of vocabulary is about the nationality! Not the appearance, understand? For us, western people looks alike, too. So, let's respect each other.  The chinese girl is  nice but how can I put up with people  who takes Taiwan as a city and knows the complex political issue between 2 countries? It's a pity to lose a chance to get long term friendship.Well... I'm pretty sure that if she keeps saying Taiwan is a city, one day, I will yield at her. So, why makes myself angry?

My Friends is the hostel I stay in Florence. The owner is really nice. She treats us like friends. The location is just near the train station. Before you get Florence, owner will send you an email to tell you how to get the hostel. Just follow what she tell you, you can find where it's easily. The only imperfect thing is there is no hot water for my last day in this hostel.

Anyway, good days in Florence. Good days in the place you're now! :)

I love Rome? or I love the travelers here?

I like every morning waking up in Rome. I enjoy taking a few walk, get in a café and get a delicious bread as my breakfast. And walking randomly and finding myself just near some historical sites. In the afternoon, I like hanging out with people I met in downtown hostel, eating delicious ice cream together or seeing the beautiful Rome at night together. Life is simple and amazing. Do we really know each other  for 1 or 2 days?

I can't forget the afternoon I help make mexican food. E talks to P, Mexican, in  spanish and interpret what they talk. I don't feel awkward even though I can't understand spanish. Is people who speak spanish all like them, friendly and vigorous? The mexican food I learn isn't spicy at all. This breaks my stereotype.

I still remember the Canadian, C, who has the world map tattoo in  wrist. When I introduce Taiwan, I look at his tattoo and find Taiwan in his tattoo clearly. He even know the complex political relationship between Taiwan and China. He isn't used to kiss people's cheek to say hello. This remind me that the days I just came to France. I prefer keeping people in distance. And when shaking hand, Canadian doesn't say anything. If you keep talking, this will make Canadian feel strange. haha!

I've also met people from Philippine. When he told me that he has worked in Taiwan, I start to think some serious issues. I don't know how to react to him. Now, I just feel that I was so stupid. I should just chat with him and don't think it too much. That's enough...Next time, I want to become friends with people from Philippine and also show my appreciation, thank you for being willing to work in Taiwan and for bring your culture, delicious food here. Well... I become too serious now...

I love Rome. The reasons making me love Rome aren't just the historic sites, the delicious bread nor the delicious ice cream. It's also the travelers I meet here.

Beautiful Vatican in the morning!

Part 2 in Vatican

Vatican in the morning is beautiful. The sculptures are divine even I see 2 pigeons standing on the head. There are many people in the square waiting for the Pope like us. When hearing the Pope, I can't understand anything because I don't know spanish and latin. This makes me feel a little bit sad, paying attention on what people says but know nothing. After this, we're ahead to Rome. During the walk, I see the embassy of TAIWAN, republic of China. This is the only official embassy in Europe. Others are like bureaus. Anyway, what they do is the same. Seeing the flag flying. I'm glad accompanied by another Taiwanese. I'm touched.

viva TAIWAN!
